The Tech/Scan 8 Plus light-weight, multi-level augmentative communicator offers high quality, reliable performance and many important features for a very low price.

The Tech/Scan 8 Plus combines the usage of a standard direct select communication device with the benefit of scanning. It has two scanning modes (linear and step). Eight messages on eight levels totalling 64 messages at 4.5 seconds each. The Extended model offers 64 messages at nine seconds each. Unlike the Tech/Scan 8, the Tech/Scan 8 Plus model offers you the choice of auditory prompts at each level.

Moreover, as part of the Tech Series family, the Tech/Scan 8 has built-in LED prompt lights embedded in the overlay grid. This allows the user to easily create pictorial overlays without the need to adapt them to the unit by punching holes.
