Picture Cue Dictionary helps students perform everyday activities independently with five interactive programs
Over 700 illustrations combine with text and speech in an easy-to-use program. It’s divided into five categories:
- Personal care presents personal care activities that can be sequenced to reflect a student’s routine
- Housekeeping features housekeeping activities like sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning
- Daily activities is a scheduling program that lets you set the time of each activity
- Meal time presents food choices for restaurant or in-home dining
- Shopping helps organise a grocery shopping list.

- Students explore or instructor can personalise a sequence of cues from multiple categories for each student.
- The sequence of a word list can reflect a daily routine, menu preferences, an activity schedule, a shopping list, or a functional vocabulary assignment!
- Students have three activity options: identification, match and text.
- The cues (word cards) can be presented with or without text and speech, making an excellent training tool for functional vocabulary development.
- Three printout styles: a text list, single illustrated cards, or eight illustrated cards per page.
Students can practise the sequence at a computer or follow a printout in an actual community setting like a grocery store or restaurant.
