Break Cards

Everyone needs a way to request a break. Break cards are an excellent way to teach nonverbal students a calm way to do so. Loop Velcro dots included to attach wherever needed.

Wait Cards

These bright orange cards have the word “wait” silk screened on them. Teaching the concept of waiting to children can often be challenging. Dr. Bondy and Lori Frost have developed this card and a method of teaching this concept visually. Children are handed the card when they are asked to wait. The card acts as a promissory note for the item requested. Instructions for teaching this concept are printed onto the back of this card.

Help Card

A companion to the Break and Wait cards, Help Cards are designed to provide a functional way for students to request help in a calm manner. These are durable hand-shaped cards with the word “help” silk screened on them.

All the cards are made of a durable synthetic material to withstand heavy use. Card dimensions: 5cm x 7.6cm (2” x 3”)

Mini Break, Wait, and Help Set

This set includes 5 mini Break cards (2.5cm x 1.3cm – 1“x1/2”), 2 mini Help cards (2.5cm x 3.2cm – 1“x1-1/4”), and 2 mini Wait cards (4.4cm x 2.5cm – 1-3/4“x1”).
