Number Concepts 1 helps build a foundation for mathematical thinking. Students join Oshi the sea otter and his seashore friends as they practise counting sea creatures at the beach, do beginning addition and subtraction problems at the tide pool, and help Mary, the Moray Eel at the coral reef, decide which school of fish is “greater” or “lesser” in number than the other.
In “Explore Mode”, students create their own problems. In “Questions and Answer Mode”, randomly generated problems appear for students to solve. Suggested for students at a Grades K-2 skill level.
Oshi’s always there to help. Touch Oshi any time to get additional help. Oshi is always there to guide students to the right answer.
