The Magnetic Literacy Strip, like the Fabric Literacy Strip is designed to augment reading and language development for a beginning reader. Use magnets on back of storytelling props and symbols and place them on strip to encourage group participation!


Features and Benefits

  • Always visible above the book or below the book
  • Allows you to display key vocabulary (in symbols or text) while reading the book
  • Single strip for top OR bottom use – Strip is 11.4cm high x 25cm wide (4½” x 10”) magnetic receptive surface
  • Back also magnetic for storage of extra manipulatives

How-to mount the Literacy Strip to a book:

  • Simply clip the elastic straps of the strip over the front or back cover of any book

The Literacy Strip is re-usable with multiple books, and is an easy way to temporarily adapt a book without harming it!

For paperback books use stiff cardboard or plastic to stabilise cover.
