Overview
Gerry Kennedy provides training and consultancy in the education and disability sectors. He is a trained teacher with many years of experience in promoting and delivering effective IT solutions. In his new role as an Independent Consultant, Gerry offers a fee-for-service consultancy in areas of setting up computer systems, Intranet solutions, whole school planning (mainstream and special settings), software demonstrations, general IT presentations and individual consultancy for clients of all ages. Specialising in assistive access products, Gerry has a wealth of knowledge in providing practical and useful information to assist those who require effective and sustainable IT equipment for education, rehabilitation, communication and/or leisure options.

| Teaching/Training | Gerry Kennedy is an Independent Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Consultant, working in private practice. He has specialised in the areas of special needs, rehabilitation and assistive technology support in education and employment for over 24 years. A teacher of 28 years, he currently works at East Burwood SDS school part time, as an ICT Teacher. Gerry has had experience working in all states in Australia and Territories. He advises from Early Education and Pre-school through to secondary schools, having lectured to TAFE and University under and post graduates. Gerry routinely publishes articles and software reviews in journals and magazines. Gerry promotes leading practice in the implementation and deployment of innovative ICT and AT in education and training. Gerry consults, trains and advises parents, therapists, Para Professionals and school personnel in how best to utilise and harness the features and functions of mainstream and specialised software as well as assistive device implementation. He presents and demonstrates a wide range of software and conducts training workshops upon requests for individuals, schools and centres of learning. |

Memorandum of Fees
| Consultancy | $180 per hour (pro rata) |
| Report Writing | $180 per hour (or part thereof) for written reports for consultancy work |
| Presentations/Demonstrations | $180 per hour (pro rata) on site (Gerry provides his own data projector) |
| Training | $180 per hour (half/full day seminars negotiable dependent on preparation) |
| Hardware/Software Support | $180 per hour (eg. installation, maximising use of resources, customising) |
| Set Up and Preparation Time | $60 per hour (if required) |
| Travel | $80 per hour travel time also applies to all of the above (where applicable) |
| Full Day Fee | $1800 ( Half Day: $950 ) |
