The Incite! Learning Series is a collection of original short films and a thought-provoking instruction model to engage every student in the critical thinking and feeling process. This research-based program was developed around the science of how students learn best using the theory of “anchored instruction” and “front-loading” standards-based curriculum.

Build Background Knowledge and Anchor Instruction in Three Simple Steps to Incite!
- Build Background – View short films on the DVD and think (5-10 minutes)
- Set Purpose – Pair and Share using the included Thought Sheets, Sticky Notes and Anchor Poster (10-15 minutes)
- Expand knowledge – Reflect and Assess (weekly) using additional resources such as textbooks, Start-to-Finish Core Content, full-length videos, supplemental reading, computer-based programs, etc.
