Switches
Switches help make it easy for students with physical disabilities to learn about cause-and-effect, timing, choosing, and generally, using a computer. Simply press and see it happen! They are also often needed by users with significant physical disabilities wishing to access speech generating devices.
A switch interface is required to be able to connect the switches to a computer.
For switch-adapted toy control or appliance control, switches can be connected to latch and timers, so that the ON/OFF effect can be latched or extended over a period of time.
